While some people are reluctant to believe this,  dogs express themselves through some kind of language. And they also understand us.

If you have trained your dog well, in addition to expressing himself, he will also obey the orders you give him. Dogs use signals by which we can understand what they want to convey to us.

• If they sleep by your side, in  addition to wanting your company, they are showing you their affection and love. However, it is not recommended that they sleep with their owners. It is important that they learn to sleep alone.

• Their tail is one of the best known signals. It has always been interpreted as an evident symbol of happiness or sadness, but also of fear. It can also mean much more, such as tension, nervousness, etc.
• Licking is also a sign that dogs use to express themselves. The fact that a dog licks its owner is not just a symbol of affection. This gesture can mean many other things, for example submission, obedience, companionship, etc. Keep in mind that licking also occurs between mother and child when the latter is small.
• Dogs originate from wolves. The pack is the most important thing. They always tend to protect and care for their group. And the owners are part of it, when they have no other companions of their kind. If your 4-legged friend steals a shirt or a slipper, you must not interpret it as a negative sign. He is actually making you realize that he misses you when you are not there, and the object he took represents you because it smells like you, and it is something your pet needs to smell.

A similar thing happens with barking. If your dog is barking in front of the front door, or because he hears strange noises, you should not be angry. He is simply protecting his family and his home. It is the way he has to defend what he considers related to him.
